Winxnet performs upgrade for Tennessee-based Lee University

Westbrook, ME; July 1, 2008 – Winxnet, a leading provider of software development solutions and systems management, announced today that it successfully concluded a SQL Server 2005 upgrade for Lee University, which is based in Tennessee.  Lee has an enrollment of more than 4,000 students from 48 states and 57 countries throughout the world.  Approximately 75% of full-time Lee University students apply for and receive some sort of financial assistance.

Lee entrusted Winxnet with a vital piece of its infrastructure; the two database servers represent 90% of its most important information – registration and enrollment information as well as its financial aid management package.  To supplement its team in Chattanooga, Winxnet sent additional resources from the Maine office to handle the upgrade and worked directly with Lee University staff and vendors to manage the process and coordinate testing for the SQL Server 2005 upgrade.
